Today we pick up where we left off, replacing our Gears of War team Zero who recently joined Infused after their impressive ECL 2nd Place.
We did pick up a team known as Inception but have decided to pick up a new team with a few more known faces, including Tom 'Knuckles' Beckingham who subbed for dignitas at i38 after one of their players couldn't attend at the last minute. The team is of course Admire who placed 7th at ECL Liverpool. Their roster although not star studded features veterans of the LAN scene with each player attending at least 2 events over the course of their Gears career.
Benjamin 'Anger' Scarrott spoke about joining Theory;
"We are very happy to join theory, we are looking forward to representing them at ECL2 an doing them proud, we will be looking for nothing less than first. Also a big thanks to Mark and his team for giving us the opportunity."
The new Team Theory line up:
Mark "HopeZ" Lees - General Manager of Theory had to say
I am glad we decided to pick up this squad due to the fact that Inception have split. Also i know this team will perform well on LAN. Good luck guys and welcome to theory.

Team Theory thought they were onto a winner when they scooped underdog team, Zero just before ECL. Zero went on to place an impressive 2nd; storming the Winner Bracket but eventually running out of momentum at the hands of Imperial. Although, like many other starting organisations, Zero were soon lured away by a bigger organisation, namely, Infused.
So now Theory return to GoW again with a new line up called Retribution. The Retribution line up boasts one player who also had a successful weekend at ECL, Rob 'RFragz' Williams, who placed 4th place with long time GoW underdogs, Marfach.
Team captain Ross 'Kraaze' Kennell had this to say about joining Team Theory:
"I am very excited to join the recently formed organisation, Team Theory. This org has high prospects and I can see us and Theory going far, hopefully we will prove this at ECL2. Thanks to Hopez for taking us on."
The new Team Theory line up:
Also joining Team Theory is Gears of War manager, Daniel 'Solidus' Brady. Solidus is a regular face on the managerial circuit and has decided to continue his GoW management Reign under the Team Theory banner.
Solidus had this to say about his move:
I am glad to be joining Team Theroy as I feel like it's going to be a new challenge for me. With time joining Theory it means I'm leaving Reign. I had a good time with them but now I am focusing on Theory's new GoW Team. I can't wait to work with the Lads and come ECL2 you should see Team Theory in the top placements again! Also thanks to Hopez and Jack.

The Gears side, tt.Zero, pulled off some great results during the tournament, earning themselves a shot in the grand final, after not losing in the winners bracket. They would be playing TI.Focus in the grand final, and a chance to win 3000 and 4 x Astro A40 Headsets and Mixamps.
Along the way they had beaten, Royalty, eMpathy and Club X. They were seeded fifth before the tournament so to gain a top 2 finish was better then the pre-expected placements.
Unfortunately, due to some bad luck, some timings had been wrong and tt.Zero were forced to run back to the event and have no practice in preparation for the grand final. They lost the final, but still finished way above where the community expected.
Team Theory.Zero earnt second place at ECL, earning 1500 and 4 x Astro A30 Headsets and Mixamps.
